Tintagel Andalusians is a small breeding farm founded in 1994 .
We are located near Qualicum Beach , on beautiful Vancouver Island,
British Columbia .

We produce one-two quality foals a year. Our goal is to breed athletic, beautiful Pure Spanish Andalusian horses with kind , highly trainable temperments , suitable for Dressage and /or Breeding , from proven bloodlines .

We invite you to come and view our horses, by appointment only.

The Andalusian is one of the ancient breeds of the world This breed, along with the Arabian
and Barb, founded nearly all of the known breeds as well as improving others.

Christopher Columbus brought Andalusians to the Americas on his 2nd voyage. Most North and South American breeds trace part of their ancestry to the Andalusian.

They are known today for their excellent temperaments and athletic ability, strong feet and dense bone. They excel in dressage, driving, jumping and of course bull-fighting.

Why the name Tintagel Andalusians ?
I was born and raised in London , England. Every summer we would go to a different part of England and spend two weeks near the ocean. One year we went to Tintagel, Cornwall. It is a beautiful part of the country, standing amoungst the ruins of a castle overlooking the ocean. I fell in love with the area and the Myth of King Arthur. So jump ahead many years...when i purchased my first Andalusian it only seemed right for me to call my farm/business Tintagel Andalusians.
